CHALLENGE
Create a 1-minute opener for a sci-fi film, capturing a strong cinematic atmosphere while translating the scale and tone of an existing universe into a short sequence.
APPROACH
I focused on building a dark, dramatic tone through pacing, sound, and how each scene connects. The sequence moves from reactive, sound-driven visuals into more defined cinematic moments, supported by a carefully edited soundtrack that builds continuously.
RESULT
A 1-minute cinematic opener that builds tension through sound and visuals, combining abstract and realistic elements to create a dark, atmospheric sequence inspired by the Dune universe.
